Another Stormy Afternoon Ahead
Happy Monday South Florida! More storms are on the way for this afternoon after plenty of sunshine this morning charged up our atmosphere. Expect scattered storms across the area this afternoon, developing near I-75 in the early afternoon and slowly traversing eastward as the day moves on. Some of these storms can be on the strong side with heavy rain, frequent lightning, and wind gusts around 35mph at times.
A similar scene will play out for our Tuesday as well with scattered storms in the afternoon after a hot and mainly dry morning.
A thin layer of Saharan Dust begins moving into our atmosphere by mid-week. This will help to lower our rain chances a bit and raise our temperatures back into the mid 90s.
