Cold Front moving in, brings rain and wind
It's actually happening! An early season front will soon drop our heat... and more noticeably, humidity... down to more comfortable levels. BUT, before we get that, we will see pockets of downpours.
Scattered rain is in the picture tonight, and some locations could get heavy rain. Lows will be in the mid 70s with a light breeze.
Monday will see rain at times, though not all day. The overall chance is as high as 60%, and coupled with the King Tides, we could see some street flooding. Highs will be in the mid-80s, though still humid, and WINDY. Gusts from the northeast will be near 40 mph by evening.
As far as rain timing, it is possible at any point through the day, but the most numerous showers are likely early-mid afternoon (though later for the Keys as the front drops south).
You will notice the humidity drop by Monday evening. Tuesday will be refreshing and drier.
