St. Andrews Catholic School to open Wednesday; other archdiocesan schools closed

Other schools will be closed until further notice

MIAMI – Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Irma, the Archdiocese of Miami announced Tuesday that all schools in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties will remain closed until further notice.

There is one exception: St. Andrews Catholic School in Coral Springs, which is set to open Wednesday.

The other schools are to remain closed as crews work to restore electricity and assess properties and until roadways are deemed safe to travel.
