June 4: Flooding a big concern today

Happy last day of school for Miami-Dade County students and administrators! A frontal boundary remains over the Florida Keys keeping the moisture across the area. A northeast wind will help steer the showers and storms towards the coastal metro areas again today. After days of rain the ground is so saturated that flooding is a big concern to our areas today. Some of these storms could be strong -- remember, when thunder roars go indoors. Keep the raingear handy for one more day. Rain chances finally taper off into Friday and the weekend.
