June 4: More hit or miss downpours could spark flooding in parts of South Florida

You may have noticed a slight drop in humidity today compared to the last couple days. There is some drier air trying to sneak in from the north. Although scattered thunderstorms are possible anywhere, the focus for the heaviest will be in the Florida Keys and Miami-Dade County. Some slow-moving storms could spark an additional round of flooding. High temperatures will be in the middle 80s, which is several degrees cooler than average.

Most of the showers and thunderstorms will be pushed to the south by Saturday in the Florida Keys. Of course, it is the rainy season so by the end of the weekend, a few showers will start returning. Highs will be in the upper 80s which is very seasonable for this time of the year.
