Considering it’s June, it could certainly be worse out there. We’ll see highs in the upper 80s over the next couple of days, but it’ll feel more like the upper 90s once the humidity is factored in, so stay hydrated and get into the air conditioning whenever you get a chance.
Fortunately, an easterly breeze and some cloud cover will keep it from feeling much worse than June is capable of. As far as rain chances go, it looks like the heaviest activity will occur near the west coast around Naples, with only a few scattered showers expected here on the east coast over the next couple of days.
Our chances for showers and storms will increase by the weekend, but with plenty of dry time expected as well, it’s not looking like a weekend washout at this point. There are no advisories for boaters or beachgoers, and all is quiet in the tropics.
