Temperatures are heating up once again. Today, highs will reach the lower 90s but it will feel like 105° or higher. Lingering smoke from west Miami-Dade continues to burn. An air quality alert will remain in place until Tuesday at 3 p.m. Rain chances will remain low today. Isolated showers and storms will develop inland over the Everglades. We won’t rule out the chance of a few showers across some of our western communities. The heat is on again Tuesday. Highs will reach the lower 90s and it will feel like triple digits. We are tracking Saharan dust that could stream into the area Tuesday. This could limit thunderstorm activity, reduce the air quality and cause haze in the sky.
