WASHINGTON (AP) — A divided Supreme Court on Tuesday upheld a broad conception of birthright citizenship, rejecting President Donald Trump’s executive order declaring that children born to people who are in the United States illegally or temporarily are not American citizens.

Spotty showers and storms could dampen parts of South Florida Tuesday night. Otherwise, Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to the upper 70s overnight.

Wednesday will offer a cloud/sun mix with showers and storms developing as the day unfolds. Localized flooding would be a concern with any slow-moving downpours. Temperatures will make a run for the low 90s.
