Happy Friday! We are starting off the holiday weekend much drier, and warmer than yesterday morning. High temperatures will be in the low 90s, but heat indices will reach 103-108 degrees. Afternoon storms are expected with the development of the sea breeze. These showers and storms will be strong-to-low end severe and could bring some flooding concerns. Your 4th of July will bring a typical summertime pattern over the weekend, with mainly sea-breeze driven showers and thunderstorms favoring the afternoon. Showers should end by the evening hours for your fireworks celebrations. Keep it tuned to Local 10 for more.
