The timing of the storms today is different from what we’ve been used to this week. We are starting the day with showers and thunderstorms. This will limit our heating today with highs close to 90° and give us less fuel for additional storms later today. This will mean drier weather for the evening commute, which is a big improvement over yesterday.

Very high levels of moisture remain for the entire holiday weekend. This may not mean rain the entire day, but expect rounds of thunderstorms that may last for several hours with dry weather in between.
