Showers tonight, but drier weather ahead
It has been a long rainy stretch, with rain reported much of the last two weeks.
Our first fall front is moving through the area tonight, and it will bring scattered rain through the evening. Showers should fade after midnight, with light north winds and lows in the mid 70s.
Sunday will be a relatively drier day, though rain is still possible in a few spots. Overall coverage is down to 30%. Highs will hit the upper 80s, but we will notice a refreshing (though modest) drop in humidity. Our first taste of the change of seasons! Winds will be breezy from the northeast at 10-20 mph.
