4 prosthetic legs helps dog walk, play again

Owner uses crowdfunding to pay for legs

A dog who lost all four of his paws to frostbite is now able to walk, run and play again thanks to four new prosthetic limbs.

According to an NBC News report, Brutus, a 2-year-old Rottweiler, has become only the second known dog to ever receive four prosthetic limbs.

After his injury, the dog was left without paws and misaligned legs, and it was difficult for Brutus to even walk.

The dog's new owner raised enough money through crowdfunding to pay for the legs, which were built by a company called OrthoPets, the NBC News story said.
