Ronald McDonald House Charities honors hometown heroes

12 men to receive recognition at special luncheon

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida is hosting its 25th annual 12 Good Men luncheon. The event will take place April 25 at the Coral Gables Country Club.

The luncheon will honor 12 of South Florida's leading men for their unwavering dedication to the community, civic service and support of local charities. It will be highlighted by a red carpet entrance, live entertainment, three-course meal, cocktails, live and silent auctions, raffles and a special recognition of the honorees individually on stage.

Local 10 News anchor Calvin Hughes will serve as the master of ceremonies.

All of the proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida and its core program, the Ronald McDonald House, which provides a safe haven to parents of children being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale. The South Florida houses serve 48 families on any given night.
