Pitbull boycotts Donald Trump hotels after Mexican comments

Miami rapper says he'll ride, die for Mexican culture

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. ā€“ Add Miami rapper Pitbull to the list of celebrities who are boycotting Donald Trump after the Republican presidential candidate's controversial comments about Mexicans.

In an interview released Thursday, Pitbull told a Fusion reporter that he won't go to Trump-owned hotels anymore.

"Due to the fact of what has been said, no, I wouldn't be able to go to his hotels," Pitbull said. "I just can't. I can't for the simple fact that you're speaking about a culture that I ride, I die for."

Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, won the award for top urban artist at Thursday night's Premios Juventad Awards ceremony.
