Botifarra my way

Ingredients:
4 pieces of your favorite duck sausage
2 cups cooked gigante (white) beans, rinsed
2 cups tawny port
2 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons butter
¼ teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped fine
¼ teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped fine

Directions:
Place the sausages in a sauté pan over medium low heat with a little oil, cook all sides until brown. Place the sausages on a sheet tray and cook in a 350-degree oven and cook for 8-10 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

While the sausages are cooking, place the port and chicken stock in a deep sauté pan over high heat. Reduce by 2/3 of the way down. Add the beans, cook another 5 minutes, add the butter, herbs and season with salt. Slice the sausages into 6 pieces, add to the stew, heat through and serve.
