More than 100 people were evacuated from a Dania Beach casino Tuesday after an elevator motor caught fire inside the building.
A Broward Sheriff's Office Department of Fire Rescue representative said the fire was quickly extinguished at The Casino at Dania Beach, but smoke was still seeping through the building.

Authorities said 130 people were evacuated as a precaution. One firefighter was treated at the scene for a foot injury.
