MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade firefighters are battling two brush fires in southwest Miami-Dade County.
One fire was reported in the area of Kendall Drive and Krome Avenue.

Fire Rescue officials told Local 10 News that 1 1/2 acres have burned in the area, but the fire is under control.
Another fire was reported in the area of Southwest 184th Street and 122nd Avenue at Larry and Penny Thompson Park.
Authorities said no structures were threatened Wednesday afternoon.
The cause of the fires are under investigation, but police say the park has been the target of arsonists in recent weeks.
