3 men in Hialeah face sex-trafficking charges related to child prostitution

Police show up to make arrests at El Paraiso Motel in Hialeah

MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – On Facebook, Eliel Izquierdo-Alcala's public relationship status says "in a relationship." And that relationship may now be over. The 32-year-old was accused of having sex with a minor.

He is one of three men who were arrested at El Paraiso Motel, 1615 W. Okeechobee Rd., in Hialeah early Wednesday, police said. Their charges include human trafficking and contributing to the delinquency of a child.

The motel, north of Miami International Airport, rents rooms for a minimum of three hours. With private garage parking, it markets itself as a "love sanctuary." And it offers mirrored rooms, poles to "arouse your partner with exotic tricks" and a "love chair" that allows users to "maneuver into a variety of positions."

Records show Izquierdo-Alcala is the president of U.S. PRH Corp., a company that runs a supermarket registered out of 344 Palm Ave., in Hialeah.

Normayra Figueredo, who said she works with him, said he fits the description:  6-feet, 2-inches tall, green eyes and about 205 pounds.

"He is a nice guy, a hard worker," she said in Spanish.  "I can't believe that he would get in trouble for such things."

Izquierdo-Alcala appeared in front of Judge Dennis J. Murphy. The charges against Izquierdo-Alcala also include three counts of lewd and lascivious battery.

Freddy A. Rodriguez, 21, and Carlos Andres Cazares, 22, also appeared in front of Murphy Wednesday. They were also charged with renting a space for prostitution and lewd and lascivious battery.
