The boy was taken back to Sea Castle Elementary School.

Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Rues said the bus driver is new and didn't realize that the child was not supposed to board the bus.

The school district representative said that the child's whereabouts were unknown for a brief time, but claimed that the boy was never in danger.
