The changes came three months after bicyclist Aaron Cohen and another cyclist were struck by a hit-and-run driver.

Cohen, a father of two, died from his injuries.

Police later arrested Michele Traverso, 25, and charged him with leaving the scene of a deadly crash and driving with a suspended license.
