Memorial held for slain rap artist Robert 'Bizzle' LeBranche

MIAMI – Family of local entrepreneur and rap artist, Robert 'Bizzle' LeBranche, who was fatally shot last week, are finalizing arrangements for his funeral service this Saturday. But Monday night, his loved ones gathered by candlelight for a public memorial.

Family, friends and fans of LeBranche came together around the very spot where he was murdered one week ago.

Friends and family of 37-year-old LeBranche gathered at the very spot where he was murdered one week ago to remember him.

The Miami rapper was silenced forever when he was killed in a shooting Oct. 15 outside this car detailing business on property he owned at 770 Northwest 54th Street in Miami.

The shooting happened during an argument with another man. LeBranche's two children were sitting in an SUV on the other side of the business where the shooting took place. The children did not witness their father being shot.

Friends say LeBranche had a passion for music, basketball and his two sons.

Miami police said they identified the shooter and hoped to arrest him by last Tuesday, but so far no word that any suspect is in custody.
