HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Developers of the new Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Hotel Resort unveiled their plans for the new beachfront oasis.
The 350-room hotel will rise 18 stories above the ocean at Johnson Street in Hollywood Beach. It will include restaurant and retail space, a lagoon pool complete with a water slide and a "Flo Rider" wave machine. Guests will also be able to take advantage of a full service spa and fitness area.
The price tag for the Jimmy Buffet-themed resort is $127 million. The developer expects to break ground in June and hopes to open in August 2014.
