BOCA RATON, Fla. – A woman who says she survived a robbery by the same man she believes killed a Boca Raton mother and her 8-year-old daughter in December is telling the story of her ordeal.
The woman and her attorney said they believed that her attack was a prelude to the murders of Nancy Bochicchio and her daughter, Joey, on Dec. 13, 2007, whose bodies were left in their SUV in the parking lot of the Boca Town Center mall.

"I was walking up. I heard my son crying 'mama, mama.' I looked in, the guy was already in my car," said the woman.
The woman said the ordeal lasted more than an hour. The single mother, who didn't want to be identified because she said she still fears the man, said she was abducted in the garage and forced to withdraw money from her bank account at an ATM.
"When he handcuffed me and didn't take my Rolex or diamond bracelet, that's when I thought that if you are robbing me why aren't you going take my jewelry?" she said.
In the end, the man spared her jewelry, and she and and her 2-year-old son's lives.
At a press conference Tuesday, the attorney said his client claims that there's not enough of a security presence in the garage and they said they are suing Simon Mall, owners of the Boca Town Center, to change that.
The terms of the lawsuit were not disclosed.
