Angry bird: Goose menaces New York high school

Bird's mate nesting on storage garage

A goose protecting his mate has taken up residency in a New York high school's parking lot, and he isn't exactly the new popular dude on campus.

According to a Time report, the goose has been honking and chasing at dozens of passersby in defense of his mate, which has a nest atop a storage garage.

The birds reportedly moved in around spring break, while students and staff were away.

No serious injures have been reported, and the geese are said to be inspiring science lessons.
