Arbitrator rules in favor of BSO against ex-employee

Zach Flamberg calls last year's firing 'death sentence'

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – An arbitrator has ruled in favor of the Broward Sheriff's Office against ex-employee Zach Flamberg, who said his firing last year was a "death sentence," because he is suffering from terminal cancer and now has no health insurance.

Flamberg, a gun enthusiast, said allegations that he had made threats against co-workers were false, but an arbitrator ruled that Flamberg's version of events wasn't credible.
