Bandana-wearing gunman robs BP gas station in Pembroke Pines

Robber points gun at store clerk's head

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a Pembroke Pines gas station, pointing a gun at the clerk's head.

The armed robbery occurred about 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at a BP station at 10070 Pines Blvd.

Surveillance video shows a man wearing a yellow bandana over his face enter the store and point the gun at the clerk. The man bangs his hand on the counter several times as the clerk retrieves the cash from the register.

Police said the robber got away in a two-door black vehicle.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the robbery is asked to call police.
