DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Sometimes even bears need a break.
After frightening residents during a walk through a Daytona Beach neighborhood on Thursday, a black bear found a resting spot inside a comfortable backyard hammock.
WESH-TV in Orlando first reported the events and spoke to Rafael Torres who took the pictures of the exhausted bear.
Torres told WESH that the beat bear remained in the hammock for about 20 minutes before heading back into the woods surrounding the neighborhood.
