Thursday's appearance stems from a different case. Professional photographer Jeffrey Binion alleges he was attacked by four men while trying to photograph Bieber outside of a Miami recording studio last June.

According to a report by Miami-Dade Police, Binion claims he was grabbed by the throat and had the memory card stolen from his camera.

Police have said there was no damage to Binion's camera.
