Boca Raton youth athletics coach arrested on child porn charges, BSO says

Deputies: Investigators found videos, photos, cannabis, 2 glass pipes inside Daniel Saull's home

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A 41-year-old Boca Raton youth baseball coach was arrested and faces two dozen counts of child pornography charges, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

Detectives working with South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children arrested Daniel Scott Saull on Jan. 9 as part of a three-month investigation, deputies said.

Saull was a youth baseball coach for the city of Boca Raton at the time of his arrest.

Deputies said Saull downloaded child pornography from Internet sites and saved them on to flash drives.

In his Coral Springs home, investigators found videos and pictures of mostly girls ranging in age from one to 12 years old engaging in sexual activity with adults and other children, deputies said.

During a search of the home, investigators found cannabis and two glass pipes containing cannabis residue, deputies said.

Saull is facing 24 counts of possession of child pornography. Deputies said he also faces charges for compile computer pornography, possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Several electronic devises were seized from Saull's home and will undergo forensic exams, which may result in additional charges, deputies said.
