DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A body found on the side of the road in Delray Beach has been identified as that of a Margate woman.
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said the body of Vanessa Bristol, 28, was discovered Sunday morning in the 14000 block of Smith Sundy Road.
Barbera said Bristol's death has been classified as a homicide.
She said evidence at the scene suggests that foul play was involved, but investigators don't believe that Bristol was killed where she was found.
Homicide detectives are still investigating.
