WESTON, Fla. -

The Broward's Sheriff's Office has arrested a man wanted on charges of stealing beer and steaks from a series of Publix stores throughout Broward County.

Deputies say David Kirkwood, 49, has targeted Publix stores in Weston five times in the past few weeks. Each time he allegedly stole more than $100 worth of cases of beer and packages of meat.

Kirkwood is also wanted in similar thefts in Plantation, Davie and Cooper City.

He is facing five charges and is being held on $3,750 bond.
