Charges: Man posed as cop to cut in fast-food line

Real officer confronts alleged impersonator

A Texas man used sirens and flashing lights to cut in line at a fast-food restaurant drive-thru, according to charges reported by The Associated Press.

Michael Chico was arrested and charged with impersonating an officer, according to The AP. An off-duty officer spotted Chico cut in line and followed him to some apartments.

The officer said Chico's vehicle looked like an unmarked police vehicle, and Chico admitted he wasn't an officer once confronted.

The AP reported that Chico was freed Sunday on a $15,000 bond.
