DAVIE, Fla. – Security cameras at Shorty's BBQ in Davie captured a woman stealing iPads from two special needs boys.
The Worrell family was at the restaurant when sons Terry Jr. and Allen left their iPads on a table, where they were snatched.
"When they called our name we went in and as soon as we sat down I saw that they didn't have their iPads and I said let me take a look, went out to the bench, and they were gone," Terry Worrell said.
One of the women suspected in the robbery even lingered around the restaurant, seeing the children crying after the electronics were taken.
"I was very much in shock especially because they saw my son crying and made a conscious effort to walk away which hurt me as a mother," said Victoria Worrell.
