FLORIDA KEYS, Fla. – A good Samaritan rescued six people from a burning powerboat Thursday afternoon near Islamorada.
The fire happened near the channel 5 bridge. The U.S. Coast Guard reports the 40-foot turbine vessel had about 400 gallons of diesel fuel aboard. The powerboat is valued at $750,000.
