MIAMI – Check your pantries: Your coffee may contain an ingredient found in erectile dysfunction drugs, like Viagra.

Bestherbs Coffee LLC, an online coffee retailer, issued a voluntary recall for New of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee.

The recall comes after lab tests by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found the presence of desmethyl carbodenifal, which has a similar makeup to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. It also contains milk, which is not listed on its packaging.

These undeclared ingredients may have side effects when combined with some prescription drugs, such as those used to treat diabetes and high blood pressure, and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Those who are allergic or sensitive to milk are at risk of potentially life-threatening reactions.

Bestherbs Coffee distributed the affected product to consumers nationwide from July 2014 through June 2016. No illnesses have been reported so far. But those who purchased the product are urged to stop using the coffee and to contact their physicians.

Customers who return the coffee to Bestherbs at 4250 Claremont Dr, Grand Prairie, Texas, will be reimbursed by check for the products and postage. Those with questions are asked to contact Bestherbs at (817) 903-2288 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
