BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – A 17-year-old boy was shot in the stomach and arm late Friday night in Boynton Beach, police said.
The shooting was reported about 11:15 a.m. near Northeast First Court and Northeast 16th Avenue.

Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said officers found dozens of shell casings in the roadway just north of the intersection. She said a vehicle and a house on Northeast 16th Avenue were struck by bullets, but nobody in the house was injured.
The teenager was taken to a hospital. Slater said he was in stable condition.
Police said no witnesses have come forward with information about the shooting, which remains under investigation.
