Duo wearing ski masks robs CVS in Pompano Beach at gunpoint

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for two thieves who robbed a CVS Pharmacy in Pompano Beach at gunpoint.

The armed robbery was reported just before 5 a.m. June 2 at the CVS at 2036 E. Atlantic Blvd.

Surveillance video shows two men in ski masks entering the store.

Deputies said the gunman pointed a gun to the back of a cashier and forced the employee to open the register.

The other man surveyed the store and ordered a customer to the ground, deputies said.

Surveillance video shows the duo running out of the store after the gunman got the money from the cash register.

It's unclear how much cash was taken.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Detective Steven Hoover at 954-321-4209. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
