HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A Hallandale Beach man was arrested Tuesday for violating terms of a repeat stalking injunction order involving a 13-year-old girl, authorities said.
According to an arrest report, the victim's father called 911 after David Gurtman, 56, tried to approach the girl while she was sunbathing at their community pool on Leslie Drive.

Police said the girl was sunbathing on a lawn chair when Gurtman entered the pool area from the opposite side and began walking toward her.
The girl, who police said was the only person on that side of the pool deck, ran to her father, who was sitting at a nearby tiki pavilion attending a community association board meeting.
Police said the girl's father shouted at Gurtman, "You can't be here. My daughter is here."
Police said Gurtman responded, "I can be wherever I want," and continued walking to the pavilion where the victim was.
The girl then ran from the pool area to her house and locked herself inside, authorities said.
Police said Gurtman also left the pool area and was found by officers about two blocks away.
Officers said Gurtman claimed that he didn't think he was in violation of the protection order because he claimed he was not within 50 feet of the girl's home.
The pool area is about 50 feet from the child's home, authorities said.
Police said surveillance video from the pool area also shows that Gurtman had followed the victim from one side of the pool to the other and spoke to her father, which is in violation of the protection order.
He was arrested on a charge of aggravated stalking of a minor under the age of 16.
Details about Gurtman's previous encounters with the victim were not immediately released.
