DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for the person responsible for fatally shooting a man over the weekend during a robbery in Deerfield Beach.
The shooting was reported just before 8 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Northwest Third Avenue.

Deputies said the victim was walking in the area when he was robbed of his belongings and shot.
The victim was taken by the Broward Sheriff's Office Department of Fire Rescue to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are withholding the victim's name until they can notify his relatives.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Detective Bryan Tutler at 954-321-4281. Anonymous tips can be made by calling Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
