MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Miami Gardens police are searching for a driver who struck a pedestrian with his pickup truck last week and fled the scene.
The hit-and-run was reported just after 8:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 15800 block of Northwest 22nd Avenue.

Police said the victim, who has not been identified, died.
The driver fled north on 22nd Avenue, police said.
The vehicle, which was captured on surveillance video, sustained front-end damage.
