South Florida teacher wanted on child porn charges believed to be in Tennessee

Corey Perry likely in Nashville area where relatives live, FBI says

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida teacher wanted by the FBI on federal child pornography charges is now believed to be in Tennessee.

FBI spokesman Jim Marshall said Thursday that Corey Perry is believed to be in the Nashville area, where his relatives live.

Marshall said a reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Perry, 33, of West Palm Beach, was a teacher at Howell L. Watkins Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens. A federal arrest warrant for Perry was issued March 28.

Marshall said Perry was last seen about 2:45 p.m. March 26 in Fort Lauderdale. He said Perry's rental vehicle was found April 7 in Fort Lauderdale with the doors unlocked and the key in the ignition.

Investigators believe that Perry might now be clean shaven or wearing a disguise to avoid being caught.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI office in South Florida at 754-703-2000.
