OCOEE, Fla. – After a mob of hundreds of teens stormed into a movie theater in Ocoee, mall management has implemented a new curfew for anyone under 17 years of age.

The new policy requires anyone under 17 years old to be accompanied by an adult after 9 p.m. or be escorted off the mall property, said a statement issued by Anna Khavula of Moonbean Capital Investments, LLC.
Ocoee police said upwards of 900 teens stormed into the theater after being refused entry to the R-rated "50 Shades of Grey" on Valentine's Day evening.
Calls to 911 came from frantic movie-goers who were unable to leave because theater staff shut the doors to prevent more teens from going inside.
"We are locked in here and we are fearing for our safety because this is ridiculous," one caller said.
Police said teens planned the movie night months in advance on social media.
"There's always noise going on really, really late at night and it's kind of irritating," said Jyssica Crew, who lives in the neighborhood behind the mall and has avoided going to the theater because of disturbances.
Crew said she thinks the new policy is a good way to avoid future problems.
"I actually think that's a great idea," she said. "They've been having a whole lot of problems over there because of kids. That's been happening ever since I was in high school -- kids walking around and causing trouble and wreaking havoc."
Despite the large number, police said they only made one arrest directly related to the incident and plan to keep working with the theater to come up with a better safety plan that might prevent trespassing kids from causing trouble.
