Deputies search for missing Pompano Beach woman

Lavira Auguste, missing since March 6, only speaks Creole

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are looking for help in finding a missing Pompano Beach woman who was last seen a week ago.

Lavira Auguste, 60, was last seen on March 6 near 111 NE 18th St. in Pompano Beach.

Deputies said Auguste, who only speaks Creole, suffers from dementia and may have become disoriented.

Auguste was last seen wearing a black shirt with purple floral shorts.
