Detectives search for Cadillac involved in Oakland Park hit-and-run crash

Man struck by car while trying to cross Oakland Park Boulevard

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. ā€“ Broward Sheriff's Office traffic homicide detectives are looking for a tan Cadillac Seville involved in a hit-and-run crash Sunday night.

The crash occurred about 11:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard.

Detectives said Rollin Francis, 35, was trying to cross the boulevard when he was struck.

Francis, a father of four who is visiting from Jamaica, was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in critical condition.

Witnesses told detectives that the car briefly stopped and then sped away.

Detectives said the car will likely have damage to the front bumper, hood and possibly the windshield.Ā
