Driver safely escapes from car

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Divers were searching for any possible survivors after a car was found in a canal Monday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

The red car was discovered in a canal along Southeast Ninth Court.

It turned out the car had crashed Sunday night during heavy rain storms.
