According to police, Goodman began treating the 45-year-old victim in 2005. She told police that she paid the doctor $120 using her debit card, then agreed to continue paying him that amount on a regular basis for treatment and prescriptions. She gave Goodman her credit card information for payment purposes.

Records show that between May of 2010 and September of 2011, Dr. Goodman over-billed her by $60,000, removing the money from her bank account using her debit card information, police said.

The victim told police that she never agreed to those payments, and that she never dealt with anyone else in his clinic.

Goodman was charged on Monday with grand theft, fraud and 15 counts of fraud - use/possession of the identification of another person without their consent.
