MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – Police responded to the scene where an 83-year-old woman was shot on Sunday at 22320 SW 117th Place.
Marian Hall's two grandsons, Kenneth Smith, Jr., 23, and Robert Hill, 28, were fighting over a cell phone when Smith armed himself with a gun.

The grandmother tried to break up the fight when Smith fired at his brother. The shot missed Hill and hit the Hall in the leg.
The woman was airlifted to Kendall Regional Trauma Center in stable condition, but has since been released from the hospital.
Smith was arrested and charges are pending.
