Employees use sex toys to scare off would-be crook

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Who knew sex toys could be used to thwart crime?

Employees at a San Bernardino, Calif. sex store used some of their more explicit products to chase off a would-be armed robber.

KABC reports the incident happened Wednesday, just before Lotions & Lace closed up shop for the night.

A man entered the store with what looked like a gun.

"With the gun, he walked in. I just thought he was trying to be funny, to scare us," one of the employees told KABC. "But then I saw the gun and it was like, really? I don't have time for this."

Instead of giving him the money he demanded, one employee began throwing sex toys at the crook.

And kept throwing sex toys.

And kept throwing more sex toys.

Either the robber was scared or shy in the presence of such naughty material, he ended up leaving the store with no money.
