Everglades Python Hunt might continue next year

An estimated 150,000 Burmese pythons live in the Everglades

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – There might be a round two of the Python Challenge in the Everglades!

State wildlife workers are discussing whether to have the hunt again next year.

Experts estimate there could be as many as 150,000 Burmese pythons living in the Everglades!

More than 1,500 hunters took part in the month-long challenge that began in January.

68 Burmese pythons were captured and killed during the competition.
