MIAMI BEACH – He has his critics, but Captain Mark Quartiano never disappoints when it comes to landing some very odd creatures.
Quartiano, who is better known as Mark the Shark, posted this picture on his Instagram account over the weekend.

He said you are looking at a huge Dactylobatus clarkii.
Quartiano told Local 10 News he caught the monster off Miami Beach while shooting a series of shows for a Japanese television network.
The beast was captured, tagged and released back into the ocean.
A quick web search found these massive creatures troll the bottom of the ocean, sometimes at depths of 1,000 feet.
