FBI searching for repeat Cooper City bank robber

Man targets Chase Bank's Cooper City branch twice this year

COOPER CITY, Fla. ā€“ The FBI was looking for a brazen bank robber who hit the same bank twice this year.

The man has been successful at taking an undisclosed amount of cash from Chase Bank, 9499 Sheridan St., in Cooper City

Both robberies took place in the afternoon. He wore the same light gray hat, blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

His first robbery was Jan. 5 about 4:20 p.m., and the second about 3:45 p.m. Monday.

He wore a black T-shirt over the white one during his latest heist.

Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were helping the FBI after the man walked in calmly, approached a bank teller and demanded money.

Both times he walked out with a roll of bills in his pocket. No one was hurt.
